Fried Foods, Delays, And Good Marketing
Ahh, I love a random title, that while seemingly utterly random, still completely gives the content of the post. Sorry, haven't slept much. Just wanted to update the few people who have been coming back with some news, and coming attractions.
First off, site news; the posting on Good-Tutorials drove traffic through the roof. Surprisingly more clicks then i expected, and while its slowly fallen off as the days have gone on, its still generating a pretty good amount each day. Not only that, but a few people have linked to this article through a few other websites, driving even more traffic. This has given me good incentive to get a new tutorial up as soon as possible. The next will more then likely be a video tutorial, so stay tuned.
Next up, delays; I had plans to have a bit more content up by now, especially a full walk through and review of Photomatix Pro. While I have been getting better with it, I still haven't come up with any stunning HDR shots. I have only been shooting at night, and sadly while I love my camera, it doesn't handle long exposure very well (lots of noise), and its been rainy and cloudy keeping me from shooting for HDR in the day. Its finally cleared up, and I have put work on a new website on hold for now (one for my photography company I'm opening, its hit a sang). Hopefully that tutorial will come shortly after, or maybe before the new video tutorial im working on.
And finally; Fried Foods are awesome! Spent one day last wedensday at the State Fair of Texas. Me and my sister go every year, and this year the food was amazing. Fried peaches and cream is just down right evil and awesome. Also took some photos at the fair, still not happy with the car shots I've gotten with my current camera, but I got a nice series of cops at the fair, which I find quite interesting and should have edited by the end of the day. Expect to see those posted here along with some tips on shooting events like a state fair.
